May 2025
From the lush jungles of Tulum to the main stages of the global electronic circuit, Antonio has emerged as one of the key figures shaping the evolution of modern club culture. With a strong creative vision and a relentless international agenda, 2025 finds him balancing residencies, festivals, and label curation with precision and passion. We caught up with him to talk about his recent highlights and what’s ahead for the rest of the year.
Beyond his global performances and packed tour schedule, VITE defines himself as an electronic music lover above all. That passion is felt deeply on the dance floor, where his sets unfold into dynamic, genre-blending journeys that always feel fresh and magnetic.
Far from being just a DJ, his immersion in the scene runs deep—he's played multiple roles throughout his career: promoter, music journalist (at Vicious Magazine), booker, producer, club co-owner, and now, musical director of Vagalume Tulum, one of the most influential venues in the international electronic landscape.
This rich, multifaceted background has equipped him with a rare perspective and the tools to read, connect with, and elevate any crowd. His project SINNER, co-founded with Italian producer Miganova, continues to gain momentum not only as a weekly residency in Tulum but also as an emerging label with global ambitions.
As 2025 unfolds, VITE stands at the intersection of experience, intuition, and pure sonic passion proving once again that his journey has only just begun.
VITE - THE FUTURE OF - INTERVIEW
Antonio, 2024 was a huge year for you, and 2025 is already packed with international dates. How has your experience as Music Director at Vagalume Tulum shaped your global career?
Quite a lot, actually. First off, Tulum has become one of the most important destinations in the world for electronic music events. The amount of networking you can do here is incredible.
Being in charge of the music direction at Vagalume has opened direct doors with agencies and promoters. Also, playing regularly at the venue is one of the best platforms you can have—you're constantly sharing the booth with top-level DJs and being part of strong lineups, so your exposure is massive.

Your set at SXM Festival in Sint Maarten was highly anticipated. What can you share about that experience in such a unique, paradisiacal setting?
Honestly, I was really impressed by the festival. They're on their ninth edition already, and it’s one of the most important festivals in the Caribbean.
The island is stunning, the hosting was flawless, and the crowd was so open and ready to dance. It was an incredible experience overall. I also had the chance to share special moments with amazing artists like Oxia, Paax, Yulia Niko, MadebyPete, Kadosh, Julian Prince, and more.
You also performed at Tomorrowland in 2024 during their 20th anniversary. How would you describe that experience and its impact on your career?
It was a huge, unexpected honor. We were representing Tulum on a special stage created through a collaboration between Visita Caribe Mexicano, the Tourism Promotion Secretariat of Tulum, and Rokkatto Agency, led by Ro Ávila.
You're literally at the top—the number one festival in the world. The hospitality, logistics, and overall experience were just incredible.
One of the highlights was the Artist Villa, a space exclusively for artists and media with food, massages, a full bar... I got to hang out there and see Tale of Us, Keinemusik, Charlotte de Witte—basically, everyone was there. It's the kind of environment where real connections happen.

As co-founder of Sinner Music, you’ve been shaping a new sound in Tulum. What’s the vision behind the project, and what are your future plans?
Sinner was born together with my partner Miganova, following another project we created called Pagano. Back then—around four years ago—the scene in Tulum was very centered on Afro and shamanic sounds. Our goal was to push something different: music that’s more energetic, fun, and danceable.
The first step was launching our digital label to release our own tracks. It came from a real need—sending music to bigger labels and getting no response can be super frustrating. So we built our own platform to put our sound out there.
Thanks to the work of our team (PR, design, photo, visuals, mapping), we’ve managed to take Sinner events beyond Tulum—to Istanbul, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Argentina, and the response has been very strong.
In 2025, we’re continuing with our Tuesday residency at Vagalume, where we've hosted powerful guests like Patrice Bäumel, Dubfire, Kölsch, Solique, and recently Sasha, in partnership with the iconic UK label Renaissance.
Now we’re focusing on a full visual and decor refresh, because for the 2026 high season, Sinner will move to Saturdays, which is a big move and a major responsibility.
With such a packed schedule and so many shows around the world, how do you stay inspired and keep your sets fresh every time?
Honestly, it’s because I truly love electronic music. I do deep music research—I get sent promos, I listen to sets all the time.
Each venue is special. Set times vary, locations vary... playing on a beach is very different from playing in the city. So I always try to curate the ideal sound for that specific party or space. Every venue deserves its own sonic narrative.
If you had to describe what you expect from the rest of the year in one word, what would it be?
Abundance.
